Bespoke perfume creation: THE PERFUMER, the creative force behind every fragrance.

Before becoming a pretty bottle placed on a shelf , a perfume always begins with a formula, which is called the perfume composition. A true "recipe", it is developed from dozens, even hundreds of ingredients : flowers, fruits, woods, resins, roots, spices… so many raw materials that give life to a unique olfactory signature.
Behind every perfume composition lies a creator: the perfumer, often called the "nose".
Some perfume houses have in-house perfumers who develop all their fragrances.
Others use composition houses, which create formulas for several clients, whether in fine perfumery , food flavorings, or for hygiene and cosmetic products .
Finally, some independent perfumers design their own formulas and develop their clientele.
These professionals focus solely on creating the fragrance composition, delivering the formula but not the final product—what is known as the "solution" (eau de toilette, eau de parfum, or parfum). They typically charge for their creative work and often impose minimum production volumes .
This composition is then diluted in alcohol according to a precise proportion, defined by the perfumer. The concentration determines the intensity of the perfume and its category: eau de toilette, eau de parfum, parfum, or extrait de parfum.
